Beginning of School

So we're back to school once more. -sigh- At least I get to see my friends everyday! Unfortunately, that also means seeing . . . other people too. Yay.
I got 17/30 on a test in English- my best subject. I feel like crying. This sucks. Not a good way to start a year. I also found out we're not doing any creative writing this year- no poetry or short stories, nothing! -sobs- I'm going to FAIL! :( That's the only thing I'm good at in English.
Screw grammar. I want to WRITE!
Kathryn dared me to fill up an entire Five Subject notebook with poetry this year. I'm almost done with the first subject. Take THAT!
NaNo planning is going good, I haven't done much, but Charlotte's character section is almost finished. I have a whole honking binder full of plot, characters, and setting. Wow, I am SUCH a loser.
Do you know what is a really good book so far? Atlas Shrugged. I started reading it this summer, thinking it would be tedious, but it's fantastic! It is sort of tedious, but only because the book is so big!
And now, a sample of my poetry. I have this (poor man) copyrighted. Haha.

"Tomorrow's Coming"

It'll be better tomorrow
they say
And all of our troubles
Will go away
The clouds won't leave
tomorrow, they say
But they'll be white
instead of gray
Tomorrow's coming-
Tomorrow's here!
But sadly somehow
Tomorrow never gets here.

I know you all (oh who am I fooling, no one reads this blog) were thinking, "Oh my god, she actually is writing a not depressing poem!" but I totally tricked you in the end. Haha.
